Fresh, minty, and surprisingly healthy, this Skinny Mint Smoothie will fill you up and chill you out before you even reach the bottom of your glass. And since you probably have most of the ingredients on hand, it’s easy to whip together.
Besides the delicious and refreshing flavor, you’ll get the added health benefits of iron, folate, and a host of vitamins and minerals thanks to the spinach (which tastes virtually undetectable in this recipe) and potassium and fiber from the banana. Mint leaves are also rich in nutrients, plus they boast anti-viral, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties.
Fun fact: Spinach, bananas, and mint all contain manganese, a trace mineral that supports bone production and healthy skin, plus helps fight free-radicals.

Skinny Mint Smoothie Recipe
- 1/2 cup chilled coconut milk
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach
- 1/2 frozen banana
- Handful of mint leaves
- 1/2 tsp peppermint extract
- 1 packet of stevia
- Handful of ice
- Water (as much as you need for your desired consistency)
- 1/8 cup raw cacao nibs (for garnish)
1. Add all ingredients, except raw cacao nibs, in a high-speed blender.
2. Blend until no chunks are left. Garnish with raw cacao nibs if you’d like. Enjoy!
