If you are like most women over 35, you probably have 15 – 20 lbs (or more) you'd like to lose, but can't seem to get past the fact that you're going to have to change the way you eat.
Congratulations! you are normal 🙂
Voluntarily giving up fatty foods that once were a staple of your diet is a major decision that most people are not willing or able to make. Something you may not realize is that you don’t have to sacrifice good flavor to the god of weight loss.
* Oatmeal is a wonderful food for breakfasts. It is high in fiber, low in calories, and is very filling. You can put a variety of flavorings on the oatmeal from butter to honey, as long as it is in moderation. Overdoing anything will be bad for you. Just make sure you buy slow cooked oatmeal and NOT the instant variety.
* Leafy greens are a wonderful source of fiber and other essential nutrients that help you shed unwanted pounds. However, stay away from iceberg lettuce, though, as it has almost NO nutritional value. Green leaf, red leaf, and romaine lettuce are good options as well as spinach, kale and Swiss chard for iron sources.
* You don't have to give up many of your favorite foods if you cook them using olive oil or natural nut oils and reduce your portion sizes. Using non saturated fats can help reduce cravings for other fatty foods, as well as adding a different flavor to an already favorite dish. Studies have also shown that coconut oil has numerous benefits – one being that it reduces belly fat.
* Fish provides essential Omega-3 fatty acids. These acids promote superior brain development and mood stabilization, in addition to providing your body with healthy fats…that allow it to discard your stubborn body fat.
* Beans provide lots of fiber, protein, and help to stabilize blood sugar levels. Many vegetarians use beans as a replacement for meat. You can even mix beans and lean ground beef to make heart healthy and fat conscious taco or burrito filling.
Mixing these healthy foods with moderate amounts of your favorites will give you a healthy and enjoyable diet that yields results.
You can even go a step further and use natural flavorings and spices to add zest to your food instead of pre packaged seasoning.
Take a look at your favorite taco seasoning, for instance, and read the list of ingredients. Most of what is there that is unpronounceable or doesn’t grow on its own is mainly there as a preservative.
If you just use the spices that are in it, you can make it better and healthier. The extra effort may even make cooking enjoyable as you craft and perfect your recipes.
Fact is, eating healthy and nutritious foods doesn't have to be hard.
Simply by spicing up your “diet power foods”, with all natural spices, and reducing your portion sizes of your favorite foods you will start to see just how easy and delicious healthy eating can be.
The bottom line is you don't have to deprive yourself…and you can and SHOULD absolutely eat yummy foods every day. You just need to know what, when and how much to eat so you can get that lean and sexy you desire.
In fact, I removed all the guesswork for you in my new book Bikini Body Recipes. You'll discover over 150 of my favorite fat-burning breakfast, lunch, dinner and snack recipes you can whip up in no time on the next page…

The answer to the question of what is the fastest way to lose belly fat is to begin today and put 100% commitment into reaching your goals.
Before you pick up an exercise mat, you need to sit down and write out exactly what you want to achieve.
Having a definite goal will make your chances of success much more likely. It is not enough to say that you want to look thinner.
You need to put your goal into figures i.e. you want to weigh x pounds by x date or you want to wear size x trousers by x date. Whatever works for you but make sure you write it down.
Once your mind knows what you are trying to achieve, it will work 24/7 to help you to achieve your goals.
This will help to keep you motivated when you feel like putting your feet up with a glass of wine rather than skipping for fifteen minutes.
Next thing you need to do is go through your cupboards and bin all those unhealthy foods.
If you have a lot and cannot bring yourself to put them in the rubbish, give it to your nearest homeless center.
You need to get rid of all white foods so sugar, pasta, rice, cereals are all now off the menu.
Add in any diet meals you have bought as these are often filled with sugar replacements which can cause your liver to store fats leading to belly fat.
Finally any cakes, biscuits, crisps and candy goes as well.
Only when you have cleared your kitchen of all temptation you will be set up for success.
From today you are going to watch what you eat and drink.
You are going to eat six small meals a day to get your metabolism moving but also help your internal digestion system to function better. If you want a step by step plan and a ton of quick easy recipes, you can order my book here: Bikini Body Recipes
This will reduce fluid retention, gas and bloating and may help to get rid of some of your stomach fat immediately.
You are only going to drink water and plenty of it. Some people won't drink water as they think it leads to fluid retention but it is in fact the opposite.
Your body starts to retain fluid when it feels that there is a scarcity of liquid. So drink, drink and then drink some more.
Next you need to think about your level of physical exercise and how you can increase it.
Stop taking the elevator and use the stairs. Get off the bus or train one stop early and walk the rest of the way to the office and home again.
Run up the stairs in your home. Do the cleaning at full speed – housework is a great way to exercise.
Get yourself some Workout videos like the ones in my online personal training site which show you the correct exercise routines to put in place in order to shift that stubborn belly fat.
Without concentrating on that particular area but putting all of the other tips into play you will probably find that your waistline is shrinking anyway.
A complete holistic approach to becoming healthier is the fastest way to lose belly fat. Try it for yourself and see!

Are you ready to FINALLY lose body fat, skyrocket your energy, and look and feel sexy in your favorite clothes? Join my next 30 Day Challenge this Monday, March 6th…
How many times have you found when you're in a hurry or when traveling, you grab whatever is quick just to satisfy your hunger?
If you're like most people, you've probably stopped at a drive thru, grabbed a candy bar at a gas station, or a slice of pizza at the airport…
…And that's bad for a lot of reasons. But it's TERRIBLE for your fat loss goals because you're probably not going to burn off all that extra fat, sugar, and simple carbs you just ingested…which means that quick snack is going to pack on more belly fat.
So to make sure you have healthy, fat-burning options that taste delicious when you're on-the-go or traveling, I made this quick video for you. And here's the recipe I mentioned in the video:
Danette’s Homemade Raw Granola
Note: This recipe is never measured so add more or less of what you want
1 c. raw coconut flakes
1/2 c. raw walnuts (or nuts of choice)
1/2 c. slivered or sliced raw almonds
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. hemp seeds
1/2 c. chia seeds
1 c. raw gluten free oats
1/4 c-1/2 c. craisins or dried plum pieces
2-3 tbsp. raw honey
Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix together and then store in an airtight bag or container.
Enjoy!

Danette

Wraps are usually a better choice than sandwiches and I can't think of too many things that don't make great ingredients for a tasty wrap.
The problem is that most of the tortillas you find in stores are made with processed flours, sugars and a few other things we can't pronounce. I have just the solution!
My recipe for the clean, healthy version is quicker to make than it looks and these freeze well too so make a bunch to use for Fajita night too!
Hope you will find some creative ways to use these and feel good about what you are feeding yourself and your family.

Danette
